Demographers study populations around the world, and evaluate how population dynamics are linked to key societal concerns, including migration and conflict, climate change and sustainable development, fertility and changing dimensions of the family, and how health and living longer impact on individuals and societies.

The study of demography equips our policy makers and research experts with the skills necessary to identify and understand the impacts of these tremendous changes, and in so doing, shape the future we all share.
