ANU political scientist to chair political science world congress

Emeritus Professor Marian Sawer of the School of Politics and International Relations will be chair of the World Congress of Political Science to be held in Istanbul in July 2016.  Her co-chair will be Professor Dianne Pinderhughes, past president of the American Political Science Association.  This will be the 24th World Congress of Political Science organised by the International Political Science Association.  It's theme The Politics of Inequality covers developments of increasing interest to political scientists in the Global North as well as the Global South.  More inforamtion on the congress can be found at: https://www.ipsa.org/world-congress-istanbul-2016
