Biography Footnotes no. 25
In the twenty-fifth issue of Biography Footnotes we showcase the remarkable array of activities undertaken at the National Centre of Biography this year, from an NCB-sponsored masterclass at the Canberra Writers' Festival to a two-day workshop on intellectual biography. We celebrate the successes of our staff and students, among whom are the recipients of the prestigious Serle Award, a NSW Premier's History Award, and an ARC Discovery Project grant. Emeritus Professor Tom Griffiths pays tribute to Dr Chris Cunneen, who marked 50 years of service with the Australian Dictionary of Biography in 2024; Dr Malcolm Allbrook introduces a landmark new edited collection, Reframing Indigenous Biography; and we lay out a new outreach and engagement strategy for the NCB. You can also read about the various research projects staff at the ANU are running, as well as those being led by external members of the ADB community.
