Joshua Black receives 2021 CASS Teaching Award for Excellence in Tutoring or Demonstrating
Friday 26 November 2021

We are delighted to announce that tutor extraordinaire, Josh Black has received the 2021 CASS Teaching Award for Excellence in Tutoring or Demonstrating.

The selection panel praised Josh's 'commitment to providing a rich and impactful experience for CASS students', and many in the school are aware of the dedication, hard work and creativity Josh brings to his teaching.

Josh says "every hour of undergraduate tutoring is an opportunity to make a material difference to the professional and intellectual lives of others and oneself. Teaching in CASS is a professional privilege, and an experience that I have found deeply rewarding. I have learned from inspirational course convenors and inspiring students alike. It is humbling to be recognised for my part in the larger and rich environment of pedagogy in CASS."
