Professor Seth Lazar to deliver 2023 Tanner Lecture at Stanford University
Wednesday 21 September 2022

Congratulations to Seth Lazar, Professor and ARC Future Fellow in the ANU School of Philosophy, who has been invited to present the 2023 Obert C Tanner Lectures in AI and Human Values at Stanford University. Tanner Lectures are among the most prestigious lectures in ethics in the world and it is a very significant honour to be invited to present them.

The lectures, on the topic of “Algorithmic Governance and Political Philosophy," will take place at Stanford from 24-26 January 2023. They will include two lectures by Seth, responses from four distinguished scholars (Joshua Cohen (Philosophy, Political Science and Law, Berkeley and Apple University), Marion Fourcade (Sociology, Berkeley), Renee Jorgensen (Philosophy, Michigan), and Arvind Narayanan (Computer Science, Princeton)), and a Special Workshop.

You can find out more about the event here.
