ANU Philosophy’s three talented graduate students, Shalom Chalson, Jenny Munt, and Aidan Ryall, have been selected to attend the Athena in Action: A Networking and Mentoring Workshop for Graduate Student Women in Philosophy in the Philosophy Department at Rutgers University this June. Jenny Munt’s paper was also selected as one of the only seven papers to be presented at the Workshop.
The workshop brings together a group of graduate students with a group of women faculty mentors for three days of substantive philosophical discussion and professional advice sessions. Participation in the workshop, co-organised by Liz Camp (Rutgers), Liz Harman (Princeton), and Jill North (Rutgers), is extremely competitive. It is a fantastic achievement to have been selected, and we are sure this will be an invaluable experience.
